About Us

The College was established in June 1996 with the primary aim of providing an array of courses for the students of rural setup of Mandangad and its surrounding area. In recent past, several need based courses (U. G. Program) have been introduced to equip students to meet global challenges. The College aims at providing quality education to all. The fee-structure for aided programs is charged as per the university rules and also financial assistance is provided at personal level to needy student. The college does not accept any donations at the time of admission.

The college multifaculty College like Arts, Commerce and Science Degree level imparting instructions in Marathi or English medium and thus catering to the local needs.

I am delighted to welcome you to Savitribai Phule Shikshan Prasarak Mandals Loknete Gopinathji Munde Arts, Commerce Science College, Mandangad. Popularly known as Loknete Gopinathji Munde Arts, Commerce Science College, established in June 1996, is affiliated with Mumbai University, Mumbai with consistent academic growth. Ambadave, the native place of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, a token of knowledge for the globe, is just 18 km away from Mandangad. Unfortunately, Mandangad Tahsil was deprived of higher education. Hence, Padmshri Karmveer Dada Idate initiated this renowned institution for imparting quality education to all masses of society.

The institution is spread over 5 acres of lush green land with a built-up area of 30,000 sq.ft. This college has a good educational legacy as it was accredited with a B grade in 2023 in the 4th NAAC accreditation cycle and is now preparing to face the 5th cycle of NAAC. Our college received the 'Best College Award' by the University of Mumbai in the rural area category for 2019-20.
